How to turn a PDF into images
- Drop your PDF on the page, or press Choose file.
- Choose JPG or PNG, and Normal (150 DPI) or High (300 DPI) quality.
- Press Convert.
- Press Download. A one-page PDF gives one image; more pages come as one .zip file of images.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your files never leave your device. Pages are turned into images by your own browser, and nothing is sent to a server.
Should I choose JPG or PNG?
JPG makes smaller files and suits pages with photos. PNG keeps text and lines perfectly sharp, but makes bigger files.
What do Normal and High quality mean?
Normal draws pages at 150 dots per inch (DPI), which is plenty for screens and sharing. High uses 300 DPI, which is good for printing; the images have four times as many pixels, so the files are bigger.
Why do I get a .zip file?
When the PDF has more than one page, the images are put in a single .zip file so you only download once. A one-page PDF gives you a single image.
How big can my PDF be?
Up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages. On a phone, files over 50 MB can run out of memory, so you will see a warning first.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be converted: remove the password in your PDF app first. A PDF that opens without a password but restricts things like editing or printing is converted like any other.
